Aging & Awakening, A Buddhist Perspective with David Chernikoff

David Chernikoff, M.Div., LCSW, has worked as the education and training director of the Spiritual Eldering Institute, a conscious aging program later renamed Sage-ing International. He is currently one of the guiding teachers of the Insight Meditation Community of Colorado (IMCC) and has a private practice as a spiritual counselor and life coach in Boulder, Colorado. He teaches workshops and retreats throughout the U.S. David shared reflections on his own aging journey (he is now 72), and through professional experience, stories, examples, and Buddhist teachings, he spoke of awakening with purpose and joy as we age with grace and acceptance. David is the author of the recently released book Life, Part Two: Seven Keys to Awakening with Purpose and Joy as You Age from Shambhala Publications.
